UMIAL LAKE
17 km for Shillong is the
beautiful Umial Lake. The Orhid Lake Resort provides

CHERRAPUNJEE
Situated 1,300 meters, above sea
level Cherrapunjee is noted for having the heaviest
rainfall in the world. A pleasant about 56 km from
Shillong with a view of the midst covered ravines will
take you to the famous Nohsngithiang falls, Nohkalikai
falls, Mawsmi caves and Tahgkharang Park.
MAWASYNRAM
56 Km from Shillong it is famous
for the gaint stalagmite formation resembling a
Shivalinga, locally called Mawjymbuin.
SHILLONG PARK
20 km. from Shillong it is the
highest point in Meghalaya which offers a panoramic
view of the scenic countryside and in the evening the
city appears like a star studded abyss.
