| INTRODUCTION
The
Jammu foothills are beautifully green, often densty
forested. But as they rise upwards they become
truly enchanting. Here the colour of green is
denser, and wintersnow dusts their leaves with
white. Sudden openings allow for magical views.
This is a largely unknown part of the state's
mountains, and it is only in recent times that
efforts have been made no provide facilities for
