Shrine,
is 48 Km. from Jammu and is connected by good bus
services that operate regularly. Taxis may also be
hired for the journey. From Katra to Vaishno Devi
involves at 13 Km. trek on a route that has been
paved for convenience. Visitors can also hire
ponies to make the journey easy for them.
