Financial Support Description

The Outward Mission scheme provides a range of help, both financial and practical to UK companies promoting UK goods and services overseas. Support is in the form of a grant for one representative per company that they can claim on their return to the UK. Grants range from £201 to £1,428. Please contact your Trade Partners UK Office for further information. Companies are eligible for support for up to 3 visits per country within a 10-year period. Five visits may be supported to Japan, USA, China and Russia. The 3 and 5 times rules apply over a 10-year period, counting back from the year of application i.e. if the company has used up its 3 or 5 visits to a particular market within the last 10 years, they are not eligible for support. They may however accompany the mission and take part in the group activities, as appropriate.
